This week’s travel theme by Ailsa is “pale.” This is a beautiful theme and I’m excited to participate in it. I love the idea of muted, subtle tones and the diffuse nature of light. It’s a great way to exhibit light’s versatility!

The photos below are taken on opposite sides of Maui. The first is of a misty sunset. The second is a sunrise on top of a mountain called Haleakala, which literally means “house of the sun.”
The last two are from a ferry ride from Bremerton to Seattle. It was a clear Washington morning with a beautiful sunrise.
